Boogie Machine
You probably saw on our social media that Chris got a new puppy this week! Well little Boogie Machine is still too young (8 weeks old) to be alone during the day so I have got the wonderful job of babysitting the little booger. It has been so fun watching how fast he’s learning even just the 4 days I’ve been watching him.
On Tuesday he was super timid and scared of the new world of the shop. He spent the whole day sleeping in my arms with a few short breaks for potty training when he’d wake. I tried to get him to walk through the doors back inside after pee breaks but he wasn’t quite sure how doors worked. On Wednesday he started taking an interest in Loren’s right shoe laces. Not the left shoe, not anyone else’s, just Loren’s right shoe laces. Thursday little Boogie had a lot of energy. He started learning how to play and figuring out his footing to run and jump more. He also started to show interest in toys; Bryan went and got him a teething ring and a little rope. He started learning how to play fetch and got his feet under him a little more. Friday was a lot of sleeping again, but now Boogie likes to be on the couch rather than hiding in my arms. He got a bone from Chris to help his little teething urges so he doesn’t have to chew on my fingers anymore and he’s still learning how to hold it in his little paws so that it doesn’t get away from him. He also started learning about getting on and off the couch, putting his little front paws up and trying his very hardest to jump, or sitting on the edge of the couch and crying to get help down. He also started to figure out doors Friday, walking in from the parking lot all on his own with just a little help to hold the doors open. Check below for puppy photo dump.
